The Bible is our Foundation We believe the Bible is God’s Word — a guide for life that shows us who God is and how deeply He loves us. It’s our source of truth, strength, and direction. (2 Timothy 3:16–17) God is One We believe there is one God who created all things and desires a relationship with us. He revealed Himself to the world as Jesus Christ — the visible image of the invisible God. (Deuteronomy 6:4; John 1:14) Jesus Brings New Life We believe Jesus is the way to forgiveness, freedom, and a fresh start. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, we can experience real transformation and a new beginning. (Acts 4:12; 2 Corinthians 5:17) Salvation Is For Everyone We believe God offers salvation to every person. This is At MensLife we’re building a brotherhood built on real strength—where men choose character over comfort, courage over passivity, and integrity over easy excuses. MensLife: Where character is forged, brotherhood is built, and men become the men God created them to be. A place where men grow into leaders who carry the heart of Christ into their homes, their church, and their world. Whether we’re serving our community, diving into Scripture together, or sweating it out on the field, every part of MensLife is designed to grow men into leaders who show up for their families, their church, and their calling. Mens Life is built around connection and action. We gather for devotional meetings, where men speak honestly, pray boldly, and sharpen each other’s faith. We get out and get active in ways that give men space to bond, push each other, and build real camaraderie. And we step up for service opportunities—because real men don’t sit on the sidelines when there’s work to be done. A brotherhood for men who refuse to settle for passive living. We believe men are called to be strong, dependable, accountable, and worthy of trust. Meet Jacob and Julie Pastor Jacob serves as the Lead Pastor of OneLife Church, leading with a sincere love for Jesus, a heart for people, and a passion for the community. With more than two decades of ministry experience, he’s dedicated to meeting people right where they are, strengthening families, and shaping a church culture where everyone feels seen, valued, and truly at home. Julie brings warmth everywhere she goes—both in personality and in the sunshine she loves so much. Her heart for encouragement, hospitality, and caring for others is a vital part of their ministry together. Together, Jacob and Julie are committed to helping individuals and families grow, thrive, and experience the life-changing power of Jesus. Their desire is to build a church where Jesus is at the center and people are at the heart—a place where faith feels real, hope grows strong, and lives are transformed. Married for 15 years, they’ve built their life and ministry on authenticity, compassion, and a genuine love for people. They’re proud parents of four boys and recently welcomed a wonderful daughter-in-law into their family. Jacob and Julie Adams Why we're starting “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1 The story of OneLife didn’t begin with a strategy or a building; it began with a thought— that God was doing something new. Over time, that stirring became a conviction: people matter to God, and He is calling us to create a place where they can discover the life He designed for them. Every person has one life to live — one life God formed with purpose before they ever took a breath. Scripture says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you” (Jeremiah 1:5). That means you aren’t accidental. You aren’t overlooked. Your life carries eternal weight and intentional design. And that truth is at the core of why we’re starting OneLife. This church was born from prayer — simple, steady prayer around tables and living rooms. We prayed like Jesus instructed: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done” (Matthew 6:10). And slowly, God began shaping a vision for a church that looked less like a weekly event and more like a family on mission. We’re starting OneLife because we believe God still seeks people. Jesus said, “The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10). That means He’s after the hurting, the overlooked, the exhausted, the searching. And we want to join Him in that pursuit. We want to be a church that runs toward people — not away from them. We’re building a community where people can come as they are, because Scripture reminds us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted” (Psalm 34:18). We don’t want anyone to feel they must be perfect to belong. We want OneLife to be a place where grace meets real life — where questions, struggles, doubts, and victories are welcomed. We also believe God created us for community. “Two are better than one… a cord of three strands is not easily broken”(Ecclesiastes 4:9–12). OneLife is being built as a place where relationships are strengthened, burdens are shared, and nobody walks alone. And finally, we’re starting OneLife because we believe in God’s promise: “Look at the nations and watch — and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe” (Habakkuk 1:5). We believe God is preparing something beyond anything we could build on our own. Every step we take — every decision, every prayer, every plan — is rooted in this truth: He is faithful. He will finish what He starts (Philippians 1:6). We’re not just planting a church.
